Paid to get window seats. Worth it to sleep well.  They even put my little initials on them :)

The latter half of the challenge

As I continue to work on my packing pile, I am also brainstorming how to complete the second half of the "words of wisdom" task:  to pack double the money.

Double might not happen.   and by "might not", I mean "definitely won't".  While I can leave a bit of safety room from my ideal budget, I still would like to save up some designated splurging cash.

Step 1) Piggy Bank.



Step 2) Tutoring.  I have 3 weeks left, hoping I can get in a couple of sessions before I go, as long as my tutee is okay with it? Finger's crossed!


How else can I save up some cash, QUICK ?

Words of Wisdom

The words of wisdom that have been shared with me many times:  Lay out everything you think you'll need.  Pack half the belongings and double the money. 

This is step one.

Not even everything is in the pile yet...   and I'm having trouble putting together matching outfits with the articles of clothing I've thrown in so far. I wonder how many things I'll want to buy while I'm there?

I would ideally like this pile to weigh under 20lbs (including my bag).  After shot coming soon. 

Pre-Trip Prep

Flights are booked.

Leave Toronto on July 12th (Arriving in Paris on July 13th)
Leave Paris on August 24th (Arriving in Toronto July 24th).
